November to March
- Monday to Thursday: 9:30am to 3:00pm
- Friday: 10:00am to 3:30pm
- During busy periods, hours may extend to 4:30pm.
April to October
- 13.5 hours per week
- Monday, Wednesday and Friday: 10:00am to 3:00pm
- 30-minute unpaid lunch break
Salary & Benefits
- Salary is based on an hourly rate of £16.75.
- Annual leave is calculated on a pro rata basis according to hours worked.

About the Role
We are seeking an organised and detail-oriented Sales & Office Administrator to join our small, friendly, and fast-paced office team. This is a varied role that combines sales administration, general office support, customer communications, and assistance to company directors.
The successful candidate will be proactive, adaptable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a busy office environment. As a key member of the team, you will play an important role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the business while providing excellent administrative support.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Order & Quote Processing (Approximately 60%)
- Processing customer orders and quotations accurately using the company database.
- Maintaining and updating customer and order records.
- Ensuring all sales documentation is completed accurately and efficiently.
- Liaising with customers and colleagues regarding order enquiries and updates.
- Maintaining exceptional attention to detail in all data entry and processing activities.
Office Administration (Approximately 15%)
- Managing and monitoring the main company email inbox.
- Filing and maintaining electronic and paper records.
- Preparing, posting and distributing invoices and statements.
- Supporting the general day-to-day administration of the office.
Customer Service & Director Support (Approximately 25%)
- Answering telephone calls and taking professional messages.
- Assisting directors with email correspondence, document preparation and administrative tasks.
- Raising purchase orders and supporting purchasing activities.
- Scanning, preparing and dispatching product samples.
- Handling enquiries and providing office cover when colleagues are attending appointments or unavailable.
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Previous administration experience, ideally within a sales administration or order processing environment.
- Excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Professional and confident telephone manner.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Competent typing and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a busy environment.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and use initiative.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Confidence supporting directors and providing administrative assistance as required.
