Job Title: Paramedic
Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Paramedic to join our healthcare team. As a Paramedic, you will be at the forefront of providing critical medical care and emergency response services to individuals in need. Your expertise in patient care and medical procedures will be essential in delivering high-quality patient care.
Duties:
- Respond swiftly to emergency situations and provide immediate medical assistance, with the support of lower clincial grades.
- Administer medications, perform advanced medical procedures, and provide advanced life support as required.
- Collaborate with hospitals, triage centers, and other healthcare facilities for seamless patient transfers from events.
- Utilize your knowledge of anatomy and physiology to assess and treat patients effectively.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, prioritize care based on urgency, and maintain accurate medical records using PRFs.
- Assist in triaging patients based on severity of the condition and ensure timely interventions.
Skills:
- Proficient in heavy lifting and transferring patients safely.
- Experienced in medication administration.
- Strong background in patient care with a focus on compassion and empathy.
- In-depth knowledge of human anatomy and physiology.
- Certified in advanced life support (ALS).
- Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments while maintaining composure.
Experience:
- Prior experience as a Paramedic or in a similar pre-hospital care setting is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in administering injections and medications accurately.
- Proven ability to handle emergency situations with professionalism and efficiency.
