Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and compassionate Housing & Property Coordinator to join our growing team. This is a varied role combining tenant support, property management, and administrative responsibilities to ensure our properties are well managed and our tenants receive a high standard of service.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting tenants throughout their tenancy, carrying out regular property inspections, coordinating repairs and maintenance, ensuring compliance with housing standards, and maintaining accurate records. They will act as the main point of contact for tenants, contractors, landlords, and partner agencies, helping to resolve issues promptly and professionally.
This role requires excellent organisational and communication skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a genuine commitment to providing safe, well-maintained accommodation and positive outcomes for tenants.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day support to tenants and respond to tenancy-related enquiries.
- Conduct regular welfare and property inspections.
- Coordinate repairs, maintenance, and contractor visits.
- Manage tenancy documentation, records, and compliance paperwork.
- Liaise with landlords, local authorities, support agencies, and external partners.
- Monitor property standards and ensure health and safety requirements are met.
- Assist with tenant move-ins, move-outs, and property handovers.
- Maintain accurate administrative records and produce reports when required.
- Support the smooth day-to-day operation of the housing portfolio.
- Ensure work is being completed for future building works
What We're Looking For
- Experience in housing, property management, supported accommodation, or a similar role.
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload.
- A proactive, problem-solving approach.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (preferred).
- Knowledge of housing legislation and property compliance is desirable.
Pay: From £12.71 per hour
