Support Worker
At Best Lives, everyone matters. We provide compassionate, person-centred support to adults with learning disabilities, autism and a wide range of additional needs. Our mission is to help people live fulfilling, meaningful lives and shine in their own unique way every single day.
Working with us means making a real difference — supporting individuals to develop independence, build confidence and achieve their personal goals. Our Support Workers play a vital role in day-to-day life, from assisting with daily living skills and accessing the community, to supporting social activities and planning trips.
We are looking for caring, passionate individuals who want a rewarding career in social care and who share our values of respect, dignity and inclusion.
About the Role
We currently have two Support Worker positions available, each offering 24 hours per week.
The hours will be worked across two 12-hour shifts, with shifts arranged flexibly to meet the needs of the individuals we support. This will include every other weekend, although permanent weekend working may be available for candidates who would prefer this arrangement.
You will work as part of a supportive team, delivering high-quality support that promotes independence, dignity, choice and inclusion.

You will need:
- A positive, patient and person-centred approach
- Good communication skills
- Reliability and a willingness to support individuals in their day-to-day lives
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends

Previous experience in social care is desirable but not essential, as full training and ongoing support will be provided.
