We’re looking for a reliable, hardworking and positive person to join The Terrace as a Pot Wash / Kitchen Assistant.
This is an important role at the heart of our kitchen. You’ll help keep everything clean, organised and running smoothly, allowing our Food Team to concentrate on preparing exceptional food for our guests.

Experience is welcome, but it isn’t essential. What matters most is your attitude, reliability and willingness to be part of the team.
What You’ll Be Doing
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Washing plates, cutlery, glasses, pans and kitchen equipment.
- Keeping the pot-wash area clean, safe and organised.
- Ensuring clean equipment is returned quickly to the correct areas.
- Maintaining high standards of kitchen hygiene and cleanliness.
- Cleaning work surfaces, floors, equipment and storage areas.
- Emptying bins and helping manage waste and recycling.
- Helping with deliveries and putting stock away when required.
- Supporting the Food Team with basic food preparation where appropriate.
- Helping the wider team during busy periods.
You’ll play an essential part in keeping the kitchen operating efficiently throughout the day.
