We are looking for a storyteller to work the weekend of 17th and 18th of October and over October half term (24th October - 1st November). This would include dressing in costume to read one of our books to the kids that are attending our Halloween event. We are looking to do 3 story telling sessions per day (all details to be confirmed) across the hours of 10-16.
The rest of the day could be filled up with helping with other areas of Tumblestone Hollow (job advert for reference below in bold) or taking breaks in-between sessions. I am open to discuss what works best for each candidate.
We have found that people from drama or theatre backgrounds have worked really well, but as long as you have an energy and a desire to make the storytelling unique and fun for the children, we don't need a specific background.
Ongoing work in Tumblestone Hollow absolutely possible once the storytelling ends, but happy to discuss everything in detail at interview stage.

We have various roles when working at Tumblestone Hollow, whether its welcoming guests in the Visitors Centre and getting their experience started, or serving them Ice cream from one of our Rumble Huts, to keeping the park clean and tidy. It really is a day that can be so different to another.

We have openings for people to join us to see out the season through September and October. The position is for weekends only until October 24th where we will be open everyday for a halloween trail in October half term. Availability can be discussed at interview.
