Shop Assistant - Six Month Fixed Term Contract
- Hours: 7.5 hours per week – Sundays only
- Contract: Fixed Term Contract for 6 months
- Location: Beaconsfield Shop, HP9 2PD
- Salary: £24,784.50 per annum (pro rata)
- Closing date: Monday 27 July 2026 at 12 noon

The purpose of this role is to ensure that customers have an enjoyable shopping experience and to engage and lead shop volunteers.
What you'll do:
✅ Effectively and efficiently operating the shop and all its resources in accordance with the guidance and instruction provided by senior management.
✅ Maximising sales and profitability of the shop.
✅ Engaging and motivating the team of shop volunteers.
✅ Providing and inspiring excellence in customer care.
✅ Overseeing the daily running of the shop on the Manager’s days off.
✅ Acting as a Rennie Grove Peace ambassador, actively demonstrating our values and positively promoting the specialist care we provide.
A good level of IT literacy is required, including confidence in using Microsoft Office applications, email, and other digital systems relevant to the role
What you will need
