Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Agricultural field Service Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support and service to our customers on-farm. You will troubleshoot, repair, install and maintain equipment while ensuring customer satisfaction. This position requires a proactive approach and a commitment to continuing our excellent level of service.
Responsibilities
- On-site installations, repairs, and maintenance of equipment. predominantly calf feeding equipment.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide effective solutions in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of service activities, including reports on repairs and parts used.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to improve product reliability and performance.
- Provide training and support to clients on the proper use of equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all service activities.
Skills
- Strong technical aptitude with experience in mechanical and electrical systems.
- Strong fault finding ability
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for clear interaction with clients and team members.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- A valid driver’s licence is essential for travel to client sites.
