Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Night Care Assistants to provide high-quality support to individuals in our care homes. The successful candidate will play a vital role in enhancing the wellbeing and independence of those in our care. Duties
- Assist clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility
- Support the development and implementation of individualised care plans
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as required
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any concerns to senior staff
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients at all times
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure consistent care delivery
Experience
- Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided
- Familiarity with care plans and basic IT systems for record keeping is beneficial
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is essential for effective communication
- Strong communication skills are vital for building trusting relationships with clients and team members
