Overview
We are seeking a friendly and dedicated Bar & Restaurant Team Member to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a vibrant hospitality environment, delivering exceptional service to our guests. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting food and beverage operations, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere, and maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety. Previous experience in catering, serving, or hospitality is advantageous, but full training will be provided for the right applicant. This position is paid and suitable for individuals passionate about delivering excellent customer service.
Duties
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a courteous and professional manner
- Assist with food preparation and presentation as required
- Support catering events, ensuring smooth operation from set-up to clean-up
- Take orders accurately and efficiently, handling cash or electronic payments
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, counters, and service stations
- Restock supplies and ensure all equipment is clean and functioning properly
- Follow food safety standards diligently to ensure guest safety and hygiene compliance
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest needs promptly and politely
- Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless hospitality experiences
Qualifications
- Previous experience in catering, serving, or hospitality is preferred but not essential
- Barista experience or knowledge of food preparation techniques is a plus
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures is desirable
- Strong communication skills with a friendly demeanour
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- A positive attitude with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service
- Flexibility to work shifts including weekends and evenings if required
- A genuine interest in the hospitality industry and willingness to learn new skills
