Responsibilities:
- Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
- Create and develop new menu items
- Ensure the quality of food and presentation meets the highest standards
- Oversee kitchen operations, including managing staff, scheduling, and training
- Collaborate with the restaurant management team to meet customer expectations and achieve business goals
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations
- Monitor food costs and control expenses
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred, but not required
