We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Chef/Cook to join our Kitchen team here at Vennels in Durham City.
This role is all about our mouth-watering breakfast and brunch items, sandwiches, toasties and ciabattas, not to mention seasonal salads. You should have at least 2 years experience in food preparation, ensure a high level of quality and presentation in your work and be used to working in a high pressure environment.
You will form an integral part of the team in our popular daytime venue and take a key role in driving the business forward. We rely on a strong team ethic to meet our customer high standards, whilst maintaining the highest level of food safety and health and safety.

· This is a permanent role with part time hours, SATURDAY & SUNDAY with one additional weekday (around 25 hours a week). Start time is 7.30/8am and finish 4/4.30pm.
You MUST be available all year round so this role is not suitable for students or school leavers.
