Job Summary

Duties
- Serve drinks efficiently and courteously to customers at the bar and tables
- Take orders accurately and handle cash or card payments using the POS system
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware and utensils
- Ensure compliance with food safety and licensing regulations at all times
- Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth service throughout shifts
- Assist in setting up and clearing down the bar area before and after trading hours
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner, providing recommendations when appropriate
- Monitor guest behaviour to promote a safe environment, adhering to responsible serving practices
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
- Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly, approachable manner
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
- Strong organisational skills with good time management to handle busy periods effectively
- Ability to work well under pressure in a lively setting
- A personable attitude with a genuine interest in providing outstanding customer service
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
