Maintenance Assistant (Painter/Decorator)
We are looking for a Maintenance Assistant (Painter/Decorator) to join the team at Lucknam Park. The ideal candidate will have ‘hands-on’ experience and have a proactive approach to work.
Due to insurance reasons, all applicants must be 18 years old or over.
Responsibilities of the Maintenance Assistant (Painter/Decorator):
- To carry out general maintenance tasks including painting and decorating as required across the whole property
- Ensure compliance with regards to all health and safety and fire regulations within the business
- Complete maintenance log as required and instructed by head of department and senior management
- Work alongside maintenance team and contractors to ensure tasks are completed as per requirements
Skills and experience required to fulfil the Maintenance Assistant (Painter/Decorator) role:
- Previous experience as Maintenance Assistant - within a hotel would be preferable but not essential
- Practical working knowledge of general maintenance tasks, painting, decorating, health & safety and fire regulations
- Very hands-on person, self-motivated, with a very proactive approach to maintenance tasks including painting and decorating maintenance jobs
- Keen eye for detail
- Qualified by experience, qualifications would be advantageous such as PASMA ticket

We are offering a competitive salary of £27,350 per annum for a full time position working 40 hours over 5 days. Shifts will be allocated on a weekly basis according to business needs and will include early mornings, evenings, weekends and Public/Bank Holidays.
Due to the location of the property it is advisable to have your own transport.
