Role Summary
We are looking for enthusiastic and committed Football Coaches to join our coaching team. This role is ideal for coaches who are looking to lead and develop their own team while gaining valuable experience within a supportive and ambitious grassroots club.
Whether you're building your coaching career or bringing existing experience, this is an excellent opportunity to make a real impact on young players' development.
Working Hours
Training Session:
- Thursday: 6:00pm – 7:15pm
- Location: Lady Barn House School, Cheadle
Pay
£20 per hour (depending on qualifications, experience and responsibilities)
Paid monthly.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate training sessions.
- Lead and manage your own team on match days.
- Create a positive, safe and inclusive environment for all players.
- Monitor and support player development.
- Communicate effectively with players, parents and club officials.
- Uphold the club's values and safeguarding policies.
Person SpecificationEssential
- FA Introduction to Coaching Football (or equivalent) or working towards UEFA C.
- FA Safeguarding Children and Emergency First Aid qualifications (or willing to obtain).
- Previous football coaching experience.
- Enthusiastic, reliable and an excellent communicator.
- Passionate about developing grassroots footballers.
- Available for Thursday evening training
Desirable
- UEFA C Licence or higher.
- Enhanced DBS Certificate (or willing to obtain).
- Full UK Driving Licence.
