Responsibilities
- Provide attentive care to animals, including feeding, cleaning, exercising, and monitoring their health and behavior
- Assist with kennel cleaning, sanitation, and organization to ensure a safe and hygienic environment
- Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, answering phone inquiries, and managing client records
- Handle customer interactions with professionalism and warmth, addressing questions and providing information about services
- Assist with loading and unloading supplies, including heavy lifting of pet supplies or equipment as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation of animal care activities and report any concerns to senior staff
- Support team members during busy periods by helping with general kennel maintenance and office duties
Skills
- Previous veterinary experience or familiarity with animal care practices is highly desirable
- Strong commitment to animal welfare and compassionate handling of pets of all sizes and temperaments
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling supplies or assisting with kennel setup
- Organized with attention to detail in record keeping and daily tasks
- Adaptable team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills for managing appointments and client information

Pay: £8.00-£10.00 per hour
