RC Geeks is looking for a motivated and organised individual to take ownership of our warehouse and fulfilment operations as we continue to grow. This role is primarily hands-on and independent day-to-day, with responsibility for managing seasonal staff during busier periods (such as the run-up to Christmas). You'll be responsible for making sure stock moves efficiently from goods-in through to dispatch, and helping us build out our warehouse systems and processes as order volumes increase.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow into a management role, take real ownership over their space, and make a visible impact in a growing e-commerce business. Full training will be provided — previous warehouse management experience isn't required, just the right attitude and willingness to learn. The right candidate will be able to work from our warehouse/office in Horley, Surrey, and will need to be comfortable working independently for most of the year, while confidently managing and directing seasonal staff when needed.
Working hours: Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm, with some flexible weekend work required during peak periods (e.g. Christmas).
Your main tasks will include:
- Overseeing all warehouse and fulfilment operations, including goods-in, stock put-away, picking, packing, and dispatch
- Managing and directing seasonal warehouse staff during busier periods, including scheduling and training
- Maintaining accurate stock levels and carrying out regular stock takes
- Organising warehouse layout for maximum efficiency as stock volumes grow
- Liaising with couriers and freight/container deliveries, including scheduling incoming shipments
- Ensuring health and safety standards are maintained across the warehouse
- Identifying and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce errors
- Working closely with the wider team to align stock availability with sales and marketing plans
- Comfortable working independently day-to-day, with hands-on involvement during busier periods (e.g. new stock arrivals, peak Christmas trading)
The right candidate will need:
- A motivated, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn and take ownership
- Ability to work well autonomously, with strong self-motivation
- Confidence to lead and direct seasonal staff when required (training provided)
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage competing priorities under time pressure
- Good communication skills, both with seasonal staff and other departments
Skills required:
- Good IT skills; comfortable using Word and Excel for reporting and stock tracking
- Experience with inventory/stock management systems a bonus, but not essential
- Health and safety awareness (training provided)
