About the Role
As Fleet Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management, maintenance, compliance, and optimization of our growing fleet. You will work closely with operations, drivers, and senior management to ensure our vehicles remain safe, reliable, and cost-effective while supporting continued business expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the performance, availability, and utilization of the vehicle fleet.
- Schedule and oversee vehicle servicing, maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant transport, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor vehicle costs, fuel consumption, and operational efficiency.
- Coordinate vehicle acquisitions, disposals, and fleet expansion planning.
- Maintain accurate fleet records, documentation, and reporting systems.
- Investigate vehicle incidents and implement corrective actions where required.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, garages, and leasing providers.
- Support driver onboarding and promote safe driving practices.
- Identify opportunities to improve fleet performance, reduce downtime, and control costs.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in fleet management, transport operations, logistics, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance schedules and fleet compliance requirements.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a rapidly changing environment.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency with fleet management software and Microsoft Office applications.
- A data-driven approach to decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Full driving licence preferred.

Pay: £28,000.00-£43,000.00 per year
