Duties
- Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote learning through play.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for children aged 0-5 years.
- Observe and assess children's development, providing feedback to parents and caregivers.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure a collaborative approach to childcare.
- Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and outdoor play.
- Drive initiatives that support children's social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Lead by example, demonstrating best practices in early years education.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development.
Qualifications
- Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or Childcare (Level 3).
- Experience working with children in a nursery
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Ability to manage groups of children effectively while ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Leadership qualities that inspire confidence and respect among peers and children alike.
- A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their growth.
- Lead a team of adults to ensure a smooth daily running of the room
- Experience working with children under the age of 2.
