The Role – Programme Manager
Due to our growth, we are looking for a Programme Manager to join our team at CLX UK. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with well-known UK and international retailers and oversee a portfolio of programs to ensure successful delivery of business outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain program roadmaps, delivery plans, milestones, and dependencies across multiple workstreams.
- Ensure program objectives are aligned with organizational strategy, priorities, and business outcomes.
- Provide direction and guidance to project managers, workstream leads, and cross-functional teams.
- Monitor overall program performance and implement corrective actions where required.
- Establish and maintain appropriate program governance structures, decision-making forums, and escalation pathways.
- Develop integrated program plans that align project schedules, resources, dependencies, and deliverables.
- Coordinate delivery across multiple teams and workstreams to ensure alignment and execution.
- Prepare and present program status reports, executive updates, and governance documents.
- Support program budgeting, forecasting, and financial tracking activities.
- Define and track expected business benefits and outcomes.
- Ensure benefit measures, ownership, and reporting mechanisms are established.
- Identify, assess, and proactively manage program risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies.
- Establish risk mitigation and contingency plans to minimize delivery impacts.
What you will bring to this role:
- Retail background is ideal
- Core experience in Project Management within the retail industry is ideal
- Demonstrated experience managing large, complex programs
- Proven experience applying agile methodologies/toolsets ie. Six Sigma, Prince, Agile/Scrum
- At least 5 years of Programme management experience in large retail organisations
- Relevant qualifications in Program Management, Project Management, Business or related disciplines
- Ability to work in a high-paced environment and manage multiple demands
- Excellent stakeholder management
- Set up as a sole trader/company
Pay: £300.00-£350.00 per day
