Requirements
We are looking for a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our team at Llanishen MOT & Service Centre. In this role, you will be responsible for performing high-quality repairs and maintenance on a variety of vehicles, along with vehicle servicing and tyre replacements.
Responsibilities
- Carry out vehicle diagnostics and fault find
- Carry out repairs to vehicles following failed MOT's
- Perform major and interim services on light vehicles and vans
- Be able to undertake clutch and timing belt work
- Replacement of tyres and puncture repairs
- Be able to operate power tools and hand tools effectively to complete tasks efficiently.
- Ensure work bay is maintained to a clean and tidy standard.
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or similar role in the automotive industry.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose and repair various vehicle systems.
- Replacement of timing belts / timing chains, head gaskets / clutches essential
- Familiarity with power tools, hand tools, and equipment repair techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills for effective interaction with team members.
- MOT license desirable
- Tyre replacements and repairs

- Experience on brake and suspension replacement
Working hours:
8am-5pm Monday - Thursday
7am-4pm Friday
