Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and organised Residential Lettings Manager to oversee the rental process of residential properties. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing lettings operations, maintaining excellent relationships with tenants and landlords, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. This role offers an opportunity to work within a dynamic property management team, providing exceptional service and support throughout the lettings journey.
Duties
- Manage the full lettings process from initial enquiry to tenancy agreement, ensuring smooth and efficient operations
- Conduct property viewings and provide detailed information to prospective tenants
- Liaise with landlords to ensure properties are maintained and meet required standards
- Prepare tenancy agreements and ensure all documentation complies with legal requirements
- Handle tenant enquiries, resolve issues promptly, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
- Coordinate with maintenance teams for property inspections and repairs as needed
- Maintain accurate records of all lettings activities and update the property management system regularly
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract prospective Landlords and Tenants
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, including safety regulations and tenancy deposit schemes
Skills
- Proven administrative experience within property management or a related field
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues
- Multilingual abilities are highly desirable to assist diverse client needs
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail in preparing legal documentation and managing records
- Ability to work independently whilst collaborating as part of a team
- Customer-focused approach with problem-solving capabilities
