Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate invoice processing using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or PeopleSoft
- Perform data entry tasks related to financial transactions, maintaining precise records in various accounting systems including Workday and Xero
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies promptly to ensure accurate vendor balances
- Assist with month-end closing activities by preparing reports and supporting documentation
- Support the accounts receivable function by invoicing clients and tracking payments efficiently
- Maintain organized records of all financial documents, ensuring compliance with company policies and audit requirements
- Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information and facilitate smooth workflow across teams
Skills
- Proven experience working with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or PeopleSoft
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable procedures and financial data entry practices
- Familiarity with Workday or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills to liaise with vendors, team members, and other stakeholders
- Understanding of financial services industry standards and compliance regulations
