Job description: This position is primarily responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the castle’s Reception area as a main point of contact for our wonderful guests, and for providing administrative support to the management team.
Responsibilities:
· Greet guests professionally with a strong customer service presence;
· Assist in increasing revenue through customer service and integrated sales ;
· Answer phone calls and respond to emails in a timely and professional manner;
· Manage the reception area, ensuring clean and tidy at all times;
· Check guests in and out of accommodation;
· Respond to enquiries and provide in-person presentation of the castle and grounds to clients when needed;
· Perform general administrative duties;
· Process payments;
· Assist with events and overall operations at the castle;
· Assist with duty management of retail operations as needed.
· Deal with in-house guest requests and liaise with other departments to ensure efficient delivery of requests
This is a 7-day /week hospitality operation. As such, weekend and evening work will be required.
To be considered, the following criteria need to be met:
Proven customer service experience;
Proven experience in administration/reception is preferable;
Strong IT skills;
Strong problem solving capabilities;
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail;
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
Strong time management skills with an ability to work well under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced environment;
Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as required;
Confidence in working alone when needed combined with an ability to be a team-player, supporting customers and multiple departments;
Ability to maintain business and client confidentiality;
A passion for history is an asset for this role.
