Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Housekeeper/Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in residential and commercial properties. This role offers an opportunity to work in a supportive environment, providing excellent service to our valued clients. Prior experience is not essential, as training will be provided, but a positive attitude and strong work ethic are essential. The position involves working flexible hours, primarily during weekdays, with paid employment included.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitise designated areas within homes or commercial premises using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Ensure all surfaces, floors, bathrooms, kitchens, and other areas meet cleanliness standards.
- Organise cleaning schedules and prioritise tasks efficiently to meet client expectations.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism when interacting with clients, demonstrating excellent customer service skills.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to the supervisor promptly.
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Manage cleaning supplies inventory and notify management when stock needs replenishing.
Requirements
- Previous experience in cleaning or housekeeping is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Good communication skills in English to understand instructions and interact with clients effectively.
- Valid driving licence is preferred, especially for roles requiring travel between multiple locations.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently across multiple tasks.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Pay: £12.21-£17.70 per hour
