Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, tea, and other beverages in accordance with company standards.
- Handle food preparation tasks, including assembling sandwiches, pastries, and other light snacks.
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times.
- Serve customers efficiently, providing friendly and attentive service to enhance their experience.
- Manage cash register operations, including processing transactions accurately using basic maths skills.
- Keep the work area clean, organised, and well-stocked throughout shifts.
- Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods.
- Assist with stock replenishment and inventory checks as required.
Qualifications
- Proven barista experience in a busy café or similar environment.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures.
- Experience in serving customers with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to prepare food and beverages quickly while maintaining quality standards.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Good time management skills to ensure timely service during peak hours.
