Converge is growing, and we're looking for a driven and customer-focused IT Recycling Specialist to join our expanding IT Recycling team. About the Role
As an IT Recycling Specialist, you'll play a key role in driving the growth of Converge's IT Recycling services. You'll be responsible for identifying and engaging new customers, developing existing relationships, and promoting our IT recycling and refurbishment solutions across a range of sectors.
Working closely with Partner Managers, Operations teams, and customers, you'll help increase collection volumes, support customers through the recycling process, and contribute to Converge's sustainability objectives while achieving commercial targets.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong sales background who enjoys prospecting, relationship building, and delivering excellent customer outcomes.
What You'll Be Doing
- Identify and proactively engage potential customers through prospecting and business development activities.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing customers.
- Promote Converge's IT Recycling services and wider technology solutions to generate opportunities and revenue.
- Arrange and qualify customer meetings, ensuring detailed customer requirements are captured and documented.
- Work closely with Partner Managers to support the sales process and maximise conversion opportunities.
- Drive adoption and utilisation of the Stone360 app amongst customers.
- Gather, maintain, and record detailed customer and competitor information.
- Coordinate closely with IT Recycling Operations to ensure successful collection activities.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and activity updates, producing management information where required.
- Manage customer queries and complaints effectively, ensuring appropriate escalation and resolution.
- Support the sale of refurbished hardware and other relevant products and services.
- Contribute ideas, share best practice, and support continuous improvement initiatives across the team.
- Support Converge's Corporate Social Responsibility and sustainability strategies.
- Ensure compliance with internal management systems, policies, and safety procedures.
