Due to substantial increase in business by one of our main Aberdeen B&Q operations we require to immediately recruit additional Driver’s Assistant to our team. The successful candidate must be motivated, have great customer service skills and an excellent work ethic.
Drivers are a vital part of our organization. Each driver’s mate is responsible for working with fellow Team Members and Management; in a joint effort to ensure our customers are the number one priority by making each interaction a positive one and building a memorable relationship with each event. Driver’s mates perform their daily responsibilities and contribute to the Company’s overall goal of operating efficiently, effectively and profitably.
Main roles and responsibilities
· Delivering freight within customers homes.
· Must have good people skills as this is a customer facing role.
· Helping with loading / unloading vehicles.
· Accurate scanning of freight by using a handheld device for capturing proof of delivery.
· Manual handling.
· Ensuring good housekeeping within the depot and vehicle.
· Demonstrating good health and safety practises.

Required
Ability to operate handheld electronic scanning devices.
Experience in assembly and set up of furniture
Own transport as depot is located in the remote area.
Hours
Tuesday to Saturday, 06:30am to 16:00
