We are seeking a skilled and versatile Handy Man to join our team. The Handy Man will be responsible for ensuring that all repairs and maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
Duties
- Perform electrical repairs and installations, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their needs and expectations.
- Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions.
- Supervise and coordinate with other tradespeople as necessary to complete projects.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order, ensuring they are safe to use.
- Demonstrate leadership skills by guiding less experienced team members in best practices.
- Apply mechanical knowledge to perform repairs on various systems and equipment.
- Utilise logic controllers for troubleshooting automated systems.
- Weld components as required for specific repair tasks.
Skills
- Proficient in electrical systems and installations.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly in English.
- Ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately.
- Experience in supervising teams or projects effectively.
- Mechanical knowledge with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
- Familiarity with logic controllers for automated systems is advantageous.
- Welding skills are a plus, enhancing the ability to perform diverse repair tasks.
- Strong organisational skills, capable of maintaining an orderly workspace while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
