We are looking for a multi-drop delivery driver to add to our fast-paced, exciting and growing business. You will be responsible for delivering frozen and ambient foods to restaurants and would need to have a good knowledge of loading and unloading a van. On average there are only 8-12 drops per shift.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR LOCAL CANDIDATES WITHIN 3-5 MILES OF HA4, RUISLIP ONLY
All drivers are provided with everything including trolley, gloves, PPE, satellite navigation and the route already mapped out. We provide the Van (Temperature Controlled Mercedes Sprinter MWB/LWB), insurance and fuel. You will be driving our vehicles.
Applicants must have the following:
- Must be Physically Fit -
- Good Loading/Unloading Skills
- Have Excellent Communication Skills
- Full UK Driving License (Small Endorsements Considered)
- Must Have Previous Van Driving Experience In The Past 12 Months
- Previous Multi Drop Experience Preferred
- Local Applicants Preferred
- Ideally would have there own vehicle to be able to commute to and from work, however not essential.
Responsibilities:
- Load and unload goods onto the delivery vehicle safely and efficiently
- Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections and maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance, fuel consumption and ad-blu levels.
- Ensure all goods are delivered on time and in good condition, following company delivery standards and protocols and upholding the company brand at all times
- Obtain signatures and any other required documentation upon delivery of goods including pictures of delivery
- Communicate effectively with customers and managers, providing updates on delivery status and any issues that may arise
- Adhere to all traffic and safety regulations, including driving laws and company policies
- Report any accidents or incidents to management in a timely manner
- Ensure your vehicle is washed and cleaned daily to a high standard including the cabin and rear loading areas.
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (minor endorsements considered)
- Ability to operate a Mercedes Benz Sprinter size van safely and efficiently
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Familiarity with GPS and other navigation tools (Google Maps)
- Physically fit
Working Days: Monday - Wednesdays (3 Days)
Working Hours:
Monday – 2pm - 10pm
Tuesday – 8.30am - 8.30pm
Wednesday – 1pm - 9pm
Pay: Annual Salary £19,000 - £23,000 (Based on Experience) - 3 days per week (Overtime Available Also)
This position is for a 3 day week which will will be paid monthly. Salary also includes discounted food items, Paid Holiday and Auto Enrolment to company pension.
