Pay Rate: £35.00 per hour (Umbrella) | £22.50 per hour (PAYE)
Contract: 3-Month Rolling Contract
Working Pattern: Full-Time, Office and Site-Based

Sanctuary Personnel is currently recruiting for an experienced Repairs Officer to join a busy property services team in Kettering. This is an excellent opportunity for a housing repairs professional with strong technical knowledge and experience managing maintenance operations, contractors, and compliance requirements.
Working within a fast-paced environment, you will play a key role in ensuring repair and maintenance services are delivered efficiently, cost-effectively, and in line with all statutory obligations. This role is fully office and site-based, with regular travel required across housing stock and maintenance sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day operational management of repairs and maintenance services.
- Oversee contractors and ensure works are completed to agreed standards, timescales, and budgets.
- Monitor repair requests, planned maintenance programmes, and compliance-related works.
- Carry out site inspections and quality assurance checks on completed works.
- Ensure all repair and maintenance activities comply with relevant legislation, regulations, and health and safety requirements.
- Investigate and resolve repair-related issues, complaints, and service delivery concerns.
- Liaise with residents, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and performance data.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of repair and maintenance services.
Essential Requirements
- Technical qualification and accreditation enabling the supervision of gas works in accordance with The Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations 1998.
- Experience managing repairs, maintenance, and contractor performance within a housing, property, or facilities environment.
- Strong understanding of housing maintenance legislation, compliance requirements, and health and safety regulations.
- Ability to effectively manage workloads, priorities, and service delivery targets.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites as required.
