Responsible for all aspects of the Personal Tax function at the Solihull office reporting to the three
directors.
As a Tax Manager your role will include:
- Overseeing personal tax compliance for approximately 800 clients including HNWIs and trusts.

Providing complex tax technical advice to clients and colleagues in connection with income tax, capital gains tax and inheritance tax planning

Ensuring that statutory tax filing deadlines and client expectations are met by the personal tax staff.

Monitoring tax return completion and keep the directors updated on progress.

Maintaining and develop tax technical knowledge.

Manage WIP, billing and recoverability for the personal tax department.

Oversee the personal tax staff including reviewing work, assisting with technical matters and undertaking staff appraisals.
The Ideal Tax Manager will:
- Be CTA / ATT Qualified or equivalent experience in personal tax

Have strong analytical and communication skills

Show good organisational and time management skills

Have a strong technical knowledge with the ability to interpret complex tax legislation
