About the Role
Situated in the heart of Nottingham, the Theatre Royal and Royal Concert Hall is one of our liveliest and most vibrant venues, hosting incredible shows, performances and events regularly- from West End Musicals to Comedy to Concerts to Opera- the venue host's it all!
We’re looking for enthusiastic and friendly Bar Assistants to join our team, serving guests before performances, during intervals and at special events. This is a great opportunity to be part of a lively hospitality environment where great service, energy and personality really make a difference. Whether you’re already experienced behind the bar or simply have a passion for hospitality and delivering a brilliant guest experience, we’d love to hear from you!
Job Responsibilities
Serving drinks and providing friendly, efficient service to theatre guests
Preparing and serving a range of alcoholic and soft drinks
Taking payments and handling cash/card transactions accurately
Keeping the bar clean, well-stocked and ready for service
Supporting the wider hospitality team during busy performances and events
Creating a welcoming experience for every guest
What we're looking for
A friendly, confident and approachable personality
Excellent customer service skills
The ability to work well as part of a team
A positive attitude and willingness to get stuck in
Previous bar or hospitality experience is desirable, but full training can be provided
Availability to work evenings and weekends, depending on the theatre schedule
Recruitment Process
