An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced ADHD Pharmacist Independent Prescriber to join our Adult ADHD Service.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a prescribing role. Experience of initiating and titrating medication for adults with ADHD is essential. Applications from candidates without this experience will not be considered.
The successful candidate will work on a self-employed freelance basis and will be responsible for their own Income Tax, National Insurance contributions and any other applicable tax liabilities.
You must be an energetic, motivated and experienced Independent Prescriber and you will work with our Senior ADHD Specialists to provide treatment and follow up for adults with ADHD.
You will be expected to manage your caseload effectively to improve the experience for the adults who have been diagnosed with ADHD. The ability to communicate effectively and share information appropriately is essential.
You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be flexible and able to use initiative. You will need to work independently, as well as part of the wider Adult ADHD MDT and be adaptable to the changing needs of the organisation.
Main duties of the job
- The post holder will use their experience, skills and initiative to develop, co-ordinate and provide a high quality clinical pharmacy service to community based patients
- The post holder will be an expert in psychiatric therapeutics and provide a specialist referral point for all health and social care professionals working within the ADHD Service.
- The post holder will be expected to have their own clinical caseload and deliver quality-driven key performance indicators
Pay is £70 per hour
The job is remote, work from home
Full-time role, with availability required Monday to Friday to meet service needs.
