- Salary: £43,973 per annum (inclusive of on-call allowance)

- Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (overtime available thereafter at 1.5x)

Are you a skilled Refrigeration Engineer looking for stability, variety and genuine career progression? We're recruiting on behalf of a leading building services contractor for a Cellar Cooling Technician / Refrigeration Engineer to join their Facilities Management division in Leeds.
You'll be at the heart of keeping critical cooling and refrigeration systems running across a portfolio of sites — from cellar cooling and beverage systems through to small commercial refrigeration and heat pumps. It's a hands-on role with real ownership, working for an established, growing employer that knows how to look after its engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance and installation works
- Fault find, diagnose, repair and commission refrigeration systems
- Work across cellar cooling (beer and beverage equipment), split and multi-split systems, small commercial refrigeration, heat pumps and condensers
- Carry out testing, servicing and compliance checks in line with industry regulations
- Respond to reactive callouts and take part in the on-call rota
- Produce quotes for repair and installation works
- Maintain accurate CAFM system records
- Ensure compliance with SLAs, F-Gas regulations and health & safety standards
- Travel between multiple sites as required
About You
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (or equivalent)
- F-Gas Category 2 Certification (essential)
- Proven experience in refrigeration, cooling systems and fault finding
- Strong understanding of compliance requirements (F-Gas, H&S, environmental regulations)
- Experience within Facilities Management or building services is preferred
- Good IT skills, including CAFM systems or similar
- A flexible approach and willingness to join the on-call rota
