Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across our premises, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. Previous experience in hotel, hospitality, or janitorial services is highly desirable. Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitise guest rooms, public areas, and staff facilities according to established standards
- Change bed linen, replenish supplies, and ensure all areas are tidy and presentable
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties
- Follow health and safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment
- Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively
- Maintain organised storage of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Assist with laundry duties as required
- Ensure all tasks are completed efficiently within designated timeframes
Requirements
- Previous experience in hotel, hospitality, or janitorial services is preferred but not essential
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude
- Flexibility to work as needed
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices is advantageous
