About Us
Dansflore Ltd, working on behalf of British Gas as a Dyno Plumbing franchise, is known for delivering a professional and friendly service to customers, policyholders, and on-demand clients.
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering plumbing parts and materials to engineers across our operating areas, collecting old parts, and supporting day-to-day stock movements.
Our office is based in Harlow, and we cover Watford, Hemel Hempstead, St Albans, Potters Bar, Welwyn Garden City, and surrounding postcode areas.
A company van, fuel card, and uniform will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver plumbing parts, materials, and stock to engineers working on-site.
- Collect old or faulty parts and return them to the office or suppliers as required.
- Operate company vans safely and responsibly, adhering to all road traffic regulations.
- Communicate effectively with engineers, office staff, and customers when required.
- Complete deliveries accurately and within agreed timeframes.
- Assist with warehouse and stock management duties when necessary.
- Provide support to plumbing engineers on-site as a second person when required (experience not essential).
- Perform manual handling and lifting tasks safely.
Requirements: Essential
- Full UK Manual Driving Licence.
- At least 5 year's driving experience.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining regular communication with engineers and office staff.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Ability to carry out manual handling and heavy lifting duties.
Desirable
- Previous van driving or delivery driving experience.
- Experience working within a warehouse or stock control environment.
- Knowledge of commercial driving practices.
