Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organised Pharmacy Assistant to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their enquiries, ensuring a positive experience.
- Manage stock levels by receiving deliveries, organising shelves, and conducting regular inventory checks.
- Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and customer interactions using IT systems.
- Provide administrative support such as data entry, filing, and processing transactions at the till.
- Ensure the pharmacy environment remains clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and healthcare professionals to facilitate smooth operations.
- Assist in promotional activities or health campaigns as required.
Requirements
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable manner.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Basic IT literacy with experience using computerised systems or pharmacy software preferred.
- Leadership qualities to support team members when necessary and handle customer queries confidently.
- Organised with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in medication handling and record keeping.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment while also demonstrating initiative independently.
- Previous experience in a healthcare or retail setting is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided for motivated candidates.
- A professional attitude with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to regulatory standards.
