Thursday-Saturday in our pizzeria restaurant making and serving drinks along with serving customers and food. It's a small but busy bar/restaurant on the beach so experience would be desirable but willingness to work is great. Options for other shifts including cafe and kitchen work maybe available too.

Overview

Duties
- Welcome guests warmly and take their orders accurately, ensuring prompt service.
- Prepare and serve beverages in accordance with established recipes and standards.
- Serve food items efficiently and courteously, attending to guest needs throughout their visit.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar and dining areas, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments using the point-of-sale system.
- Restock supplies as needed, including glassware, utensils, and beverages.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and address any concerns promptly to ensure a positive experience.
- Uphold responsible alcohol service policies by checking IDs and managing intoxicated guests appropriately.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods.
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality, serving, or similar roles within a restaurant or bar environment is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with guests.
- Good organisational skills with an eye for detail in order taking and presentation.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Effective time management to prioritise tasks during busy shifts.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanour.
- A personable attitude with a genuine interest in delivering outstanding customer service.
