Factory Operatives required.
Hours: 9am to 4.40pm Mon to Fri, with 40 mins lunch break.
Main Duties:
Working on all aspects of the production line packing off products and performing quality checks.
- Picking and checking of components
- Loading and unloading of the blender
- Accurately follow and fully annotate the manufacturing sheet for each product
- Accurately count stock made of each product manufactured and record any excess ingredient not used
- Store finished products safely and make sure they remain in perfect condition during transfer to storage
- Record all spillages, or damaged products and refer these to your Supervisor immediately
- Report all breakages, faulty machinery, or damaged equipment your Supervisor immediately.
- Thoroughly carry out daily clean down procedures
- Follow food safety rules and co-operate with the business on matters of health & safety
Other responsibilities:
- Machinery maintenance as directed by your Supervisor
- Provide holiday and sickness cover for other departments when necessary
- Other general duties as and when required
