Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and interactive online lessons in Maths, Science, and English to Sixth Form students, ensuring clarity and understanding of complex concepts
- Develop personalized lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and academic levels
- Assess student progress regularly through assignments, quizzes, and feedback sessions to monitor improvement and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
- Provide clear explanations of subject material, supporting students with additional resources or guidance as needed
- Maintain open communication with students and parents/guardians to update on progress and address concerns promptly
- Create a positive virtual classroom environment that encourages participation, confidence, and motivation
- Keep accurate records of attendance, assessments, and student achievements for reporting purposes
Experience
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching Maths, Science, or English at the secondary education level or higher
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children or young adults in an educational setting
- Experience working with students who have special educational needs or require tailored learning approaches is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills to explain concepts clearly and foster positive relationships with students and parents
- Familiarity with online teaching platforms and digital tools for remote instruction is preferred
- Passionate about education with a proactive approach to supporting student success
- Must have GCSE's and A-Levels in Mathematics, Science's and English
