Due to an increase in workload - Falcon are now recruiting staff to join us in proving school transport for the Aberdeen area
You would be required to work Monday to Friday, term time in and around the Aberdeen city area on split shifts.
Your Job would be to transport and assist children to their school by providing a safe, efficient and reliable service. On most routes you will work a long side a passenger assistant who will escort the children and are specifically trained to cater to any needs the pupils may have.
Some passengers will have ASN or wheelchair requirements, training will be provided to you regarding boarding, alighting and ensuring the safety of passengers. Complex passenger needs will be met by the passenger assistant.
You can either start from yard or take the vehicle home to start from home

The Job role:
- Working 15-20 hours per week
- Arriving punctually at passenger location and school or service
- Transporting children to and from school
- To keep the vehicle in a professional, sanitary, clean and tidy manner at all times
Requirements
- To undergo DBS/Disclosure checks due to working with children and young persons/vulnerable adults
- To have sufficient command of the English language
- Previous experience would be beneficial but not essential
- Minimum age 21 and 2 years driving experience (Insurance restriction)
You receive:
Car licence holders - £13.50/hr – 15hrs/week minimum guarantee
PCV / CPC licence holders - £16/hr – 20hrs/week minimum guarantee
Car licence holders (relief pool) - £13.50/hr. Providing Cover for staff holidays and absences. Relief staff are also first in line for being allocated newly awarded permanent routes with minimum hour contracts .
Car Licence holders can train to upskill to the PCV contract position.
