Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and confident Floor Supervisor to join our vibrant team.
This is a hands on supervisory role where you’ll support the day to day running of our food and beverage operation, ensuring guests receive consistently high standards of service.
You’ll lead by example on the floor, supporting and motivating the team during service while helping to create a welcoming, organised and enjoyable environment for both guests and colleagues.
Responsibilities
- Supervise front of house operations during your shift, ensuring smooth and efficient service
- Lead by example and support the team in delivering excellent guest service
- Allocate duties and provide direction to team members throughout service
- Welcome guests and ensure their experience meets our service standards
- Monitor the quality and presentation of food and beverage service
- Respond to guest enquiries, feedback and concerns professionally and promptly
- Support the training and development of new and existing team members
- Ensure dining, bar and service areas are clean, organised and ready for service
- Handle cash and card transactions and support relevant end-of-shift procedures
- Ensure food hygiene, health and safety and hotel procedures are followed
- Work closely with management and other hotel departments to support the smooth running of the operation
Skills
- Previous experience within a hotel, restaurant, bar or similar hospitality environment
- Supervisory or team leading experience is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with a professional and approachable manner
- Confident leading and motivating a team
- Excellent communication and organisation skills
- Ability to remain calm and make decisions during busy periods
- Good understanding of food hygiene and health and safety standards
- Reliable and flexible approach to working hours, including evenings and weekends
