Location: Leeds (yard based – travelling to commercial sites)

Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Commercial Grounds Maintenance Team Leader to join our expanding team.
The Role
This is a hands-on position where you will lead a small team carrying out commercial grounds maintenance to a consistently high standard. You will be responsible for ensuring jobs are completed efficiently, safely, and professionally while maintaining excellent relationships with our clients.
Duties Include
- Leading and motivating a grounds maintenance team.
- Grass cutting using commercial machinery.
- Hedge cutting and shrub maintenance.
- Weed control and general grounds maintenance.
- Seasonal planting and site improvements.
- Leaf clearance and winter maintenance.
- Ensuring all sites are completed to an exceptional standard.
- Planning and completing daily work schedules efficiently.
- Carrying out basic machinery checks and ensuring equipment is looked after.
- Driving company vans between commercial sites.
Essential Requirements
- Previous commercial grounds maintenance experience is essential.
- Previous experience leading or supervising a team is essential.
- Full UK driving licence (essential).
- Must be confident driving company vans.
- Reliable, hardworking and punctual.
- Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and takes pride in producing high-quality work.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
