General Manager – The Artisan

The Artisan is looking for an ambitious, commercially minded General Manager to take the lead andmake the venue their own.

The opportunity
As General Manager, you’ll take full responsibility for the performance, culture and reputation of TheArtisan.
You’ll lead from the floor, inspire your team and bring personality to the venue, while maintaining aclear focus on standards, profitability and sustainable growth.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys creating momentum. You’ll be encouragedto develop events, partnerships, offers and experiences that build a loyal customer base and give thevenue a distinctive identity.
What you’ll be doing
Leading, motivating and developing a high-performing front and back-of-house team
Taking ownership of sales, labour, margins, budgets and overall profitability
Delivering consistently excellent hospitality and guest experiences
Recruiting great people and building a positive, accountable team culture
Developing events, promotions and local partnerships that drive footfall
Maintaining excellent operational, licensing, health and safety standards
Using customer feedback and commercial data to identify opportunities
Working closely with the owners to shape the future direction of the venue
Who we’re looking for
You’ll already have strong management experience within a quality pub, bar, restaurant or hospitalityvenue, together with a clear understanding of what makes a successful business.2
