Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Roofers only. We are not looking for labourers to join our team in carrying out roofing installations and repairs. The successful candidate will be responsible for working on various roofing projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
Duties:
- Fabricate and install roofing materials according to specifications
- Utilise hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment for roofing tasks
- Interpret and follow schematics and blueprints for accurate roof construction
- Perform carpentry, plumbing, and masonry work as needed for roofing projects
- Conduct roof inspections to identify issues and recommend solutions
- Carry out repairs, replacements, and maintenance on roofs of different types
- Engage in heavy lifting activities to transport materials and equipment on-site
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Roofer or in a similar role
- Proficiency in fabricating, building, and installing roofs
- Ability to work with various materials such as metal, shingles, tiles, and slate
- Skilful in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
- Capability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely
- Strong understanding of carpentry techniques for roof construction
5 plus years experience required
Must drive and have own vehicle
