Yardperson – Scaffolding Yard
Location: Malvern
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: c. £669 paid weekly
Based on 42.5hr per week Mon-Fri
About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Yardperson to join our scaffolding yard team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for keeping the yard organised, loading and unloading scaffolding equipment, preparing materials for site deliveries and ensuring the yard is maintained to a safe and efficient standard.
Key Responsibilities
· Loading and unloading scaffolding materials and equipment
· Operating a forklift truck safely and efficiently
· Preparing orders and materials for delivery to site
· Checking, sorting and organising scaffolding equipment
· Keeping the yard clean, tidy and well organised
· Assisting drivers and site teams with loading requirements
· Carrying out general yard duties as required
· Following all company health and safety procedures
· Reporting damaged or unsafe equipment to management
Requirements
· Full, valid driving licence – essential
· Current Counter-Balance forklift truck license – essential
· Previous experience working in a yard, warehouse, construction or scaffolding environment is desirable
· Physically fit and able to handle heavy materials
· Good organisational skills and attention to detail
· Reliable, punctual and able to work both as a part of a team and under own initiative
· Good understanding of workplace health and safety
· A positive, can-do attitude
