Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various environments, ensuring that all areas are kept to the highest standards. This role is essential in providing a safe and pleasant atmosphere for both staff and visitors.
Duties
- Perform cleaning tasks in commercial settings, including offices, restrooms, and communal areas.
- Dust, mop, sweep, and vacuum floors to ensure cleanliness.
- Clean and sanitise surfaces, including desks, countertops, and equipment.
- Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, soap, and other hygiene products as needed.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Follow health and safety regulations while performing cleaning duties.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve cleanliness goals.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within set timeframes.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties which may involve lifting or moving equipment.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new cleaning techniques and protocols.
