We are seeking to appoint a caring and reliable Lunchtime Supervisor to join our welcoming primary school community and help ensure that our children experience happy, healthy, and safe lunchtimes.
The role involves supervising pupils during the lunch period, supporting them in the dining hall, and encouraging positive behaviour and social interaction. You will also help to organise and lead inclusive play activities, promoting active play and friendship.
This is a rewarding role for someone who enjoys working with children and being part of a supportive team.
Key duties and responsibilities include:
- Supervising children throughout the lunch break, ensuring their safety, wellbeing, and positive behaviour.
- Supporting children’s social and emotional development, including organising pupils to line up for meals, assisting in the dining hall, and encouraging cooperative play.
- Leading and engaging pupils in outdoor and indoor play activities during the lunchtime period.
- Assisting with setting up and clearing the dining hall and dealing with minor spillages.
- Working collaboratively with staff to maintain a calm, caring, and inclusive lunchtime environment.
