Duties
- Safely operate flatbed trucks and other commercial vehicles to deliver products to customer locations
- Plan efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity and meet delivery schedules
- Load and unload cargo with care, ensuring items are secured properly during transit
- Verify delivery details, obtain signatures, and complete all necessary documentation accurately
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure safety standards are met
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery status or any issues encountered
- Maintain a professional and courteous attitude when interacting with customers during deliveries
Experience
- Prior delivery driver experience preferred, especially with commercial driving environments
- Familiarity with flatbed trucking operations is highly advantageous
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required
- Experience in handling cargo securely and understanding of safety protocols in transportation
- Knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations related to commercial vehicle operation
- Own Vehicle required
Hours & Fuel Allowance
4hrs between noon and 4pm daily and fuel costs per delivery
